Review: ASUS X99-Deluxe

As the year of 2014 is coming to an end we’ve seen numerous vendors has already released almost full list of their own X99 “Haswell-E” motherboard lineups, from low-end to high-end models. It’s amazing how fast time flies by and you don’t even realize that we’ve reviewed a total of three X99-based motherboards up till today. The boards are no other than the flagship ASUS Rampage V Extreme, X99-Pro and the X99-A.

Today we will be taking a look at yet another motherboard from ASUS, namely the X99-Deluxe. The X99-Deluxe is the most fully featured ATX motherboard from ASUS’s mainstream series. It is loaded with plethora of features and huge package of accessories that make it the most versatile motherboard of the series.  One of the most fascinating features that comes equipped with it is ASUS’s patent-pending OC Socket which comprises extra pins to provide higher memory frequencies, lower latencies and enhanced stability while overclocking.

To give you one-click overclocking and cooling solutions ASUS has equipped the X99-Deluxe with their remarkable 5-Way Optimization by Dual Intelligent Processor 5 technology. In addition, you also get two lightning-fast M.2 ports, advanced wireless networking with the 3×3(3T3R) 802.11ac WiFi module, and flawless Crystal Sound 2 audio solution.
