The front packaging introduces the features of SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD on the top and the storage capacity altogether with Sequential read and write speed capability by this drive.
The back side is quite crowdy with words but user can directly see the serial number through the hole at the box and SanDisk offer 3 years of warranty covered.
The packaging is totally seal with glue so the only way to open is tearing either top or bottom and thus makes the box unable to reseal again. The drive is protected inside electrostatic plastic and surround by transparent hard plastic to reduce shock during transportation.
There’s nothing much bundled besides the Product Guide and also SanDisk SSD Dashboard download link for user to register and activate the warranty of the drive.
Im not really a fan of sticker but last week I build one rig using this storage with black and red theme, im quite impress as the lighting reflect the sticker on the storage which makes the drive look premium.
All the detail specification of the drive can be found at the back.
We did a simple test of benchmark using 3 software of Anvil Pro, Atto Disk Benchmark and Crystal Disk Benchmark. All this software is available to download free on their website.
When it comes to conclusion, I can say with the technology of 3D NAND, the SanDisk Ultra 3D SSD now running with lower temperature and wattage operation which expand the battery life of notebook or other portable devices that capable of using this drive. With the user-friendly interface SanDisk Dashboard software, it really helps user to analysis of the disk (including the disk model details, capacity, firmware version and S.M.A.R.T attributes). The only major downfall I can say in term of pricing, is that the drive is really wallet ripper.
Finally, I would like to say thank you to SanDisk for providing me the sample to test and review this awesome drive!
