|Review| ASUS E350M1-M Pro

Conclusion

“Love it” , words to describe my view towards this mainboard. The heatsink fit just nice, even the cooling capability is not that good for a passive cooler, but still i dont think this system will be run at load most of the time. This system is meant for entertainment PC and also a download / torrent PC. As for entertainment PC, the system will only partially load and for short period of time, and for download PC, even the PC will ON for few days, or week, still it will be in idle state. Plus if we put this inside a casing with good ventilation, the temperature certainly lower compared to my test here.

This model is not a mini-ITX sized motherboard, its a m-ATX. As ASUS already has a mini-ITX board in the market, then this just to give choices to people. For those that favours mini-ITX can take other model instead of this one and for those that need extra PCI expansion slots for extra peripheral, this model suits them well. 1x PCIE x1 is really helpful as some might want to add a soundcard for better movie experience,

The overclocking capability of this motherboard really disappoints me but this is not the motherboard’s fault. Its the embedded CPU, AMD E-350 that not optimize for overclocking. Anyway, overclocking it will certainly increase the power consumption where this system is to serve the low power system, so why should we overclock it?
